Since 1979 the National Welding Inspection School (NWIS) has served the Oil and Gas industry by conducting more than 200 four-day training programs to more than 16000 attendees. Hands-on welding inspection will include the proper use of tongmeters, voltmeters and temperature measuring tools to determine compliance to welding procedures, including conducting heat input calculations. Correct specimen preparation, along with Bend and Tensile testing (API 1104 and ASME IX), will be demonstrated to assure that those in attendance will be able to perform these duties in the field for Welder Qualification and Welding Procedure Qualification. All of the major welding processes including SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, GTAW will be demonstrated and available for use by those attending these schools. All of our schools are for inspectors, welders, engineers, superintendents, managers and others involved in the construction and maintenance of pipelines and plants. 2010 Schedule

Payment for the school must be made as soon as possible prior to the start date due to limited classroom space and to assure your School Manual is ordered.
